2VM - Placita 7" 6,99 € (Label: Genetic) SOLD OUT

AA - Essential Entertainment 7'' Reissue 9,99 (Label: Softspot Music) SOLD OUT

Limited reissue of the Essential Entertainment EP by Belgian band AA. Originally released in 1981 by Sexy Robot Records and limited to 900 copies, Essential Entertainment is an unrecognized gem of the early post-punk era. A unique and compelling sense of restless dread and frustration emanates from their stuttering grooves, spiky guitar arpeggios, and disturbed mutter-to-shout vocals. The music is clearly inspired by its peers: Joy Division, the Fall, and label mates the Cultural Decay. Essential Entertainment was AA's first and only release. Softspot will be releasing a limited pressing of 500 copies.

ADN' Ckrystall - COD ADN' 7''+3'' 13,99 euro (Label: Clogsontronics) SOLD OUT

Erick "CKrystall" Moncollin AKA Dr. Strange is active in art from the late 70's until today. In 1982 he released his first album Jazz Mad which is an undisputed masterpiece of electronic music. During the years he developed his style in music, drawing and performances but despite all he never changed. 2008 appears productive for Erick. Earlier this year he released the "Minilab" 12"/7" combo on Anna-logue records and now we present you 3 new born tracks. Again the Clogsontronics double media format was used. The 7" vinyl EP is accompanied by a mini CD containing the same tracks. To emphasize his 30 year activity in art in 2007 he decided to finalize the drawing of a poster he started in 1977. A high quality full-color reproduction in big A1 format is included with this Clogsontronics package so that besides the music all can enjoy another aspect of the work of this great artist. COD-ADN' is limited to 450 hand-numbered copies. Click the cover for a full image.

Arnaud Lazlaud - Le Malade Roi / Elan 7'' ltd 350 copies Medical Gauze Cover and Red Vinyl 8,99 (Hertz-Schrittmacher) SOLD OUT

Arnaud Lazlaud is a project of Xavier Paradis from Montréal, Canada, member of Echo Kitty and Automelodi too. Two minimal electropop tracks with French vocals, recorded and mixed by Paradis in 1998 and 1999, but sounds very 80s.  The 7" comes in red vinyl and is sealed with medical gauze. Bal Paré - Untitled 7'' 9,99 € (Label: Minimal Wave) SOLD OUT

Minimal Wave presents a 4 song 7" EP by legendary German band Bal Paré. The band was formed in 1980 by Kirsten Klemm, Manfred Asmus and Matthias Schuster. Schuster, the brainchild behind the band, is also known for these projects: Geisterfahrer, Im Namen Des Volkes, Jeanette Und Das Land Z, and Das Institut.
The four songs were recorded between 1981-1984 and are all previously unreleased. The songs range from really original, danceable dark synth with an early industrial feel to warmer synth pop, the last song featuring Kirsten on vocals.

Limited to 600 hand-numbered copies in hand silk screened heavy cardboard jacket.

colpBeograd – T.V. 7'' EP (Anna Logue Records) 7,99€

Limited edition, comes with UV varnished sleeve and natural matte double-sided DIN A6 postcard with lyrics and band member info.

Black People - Brain Wash 7'' (FlexiWave) 7,99

Black People is the legendary electronic producer Tobias Schmidt whom released plenty of records on classic labels such as Disko B, Tresor, Scandinavia and his own Nest imprint.

As Black People, he makes live analogue synth jams and just as punky as you want it. If you are into this, then we also recommend you check his ground breaking album "Le Chimp Automique" on Scandinavia from 1999.

Bronze - ST 7'' 7,99 € (Label: Enfant Terrible/Hex)

Bronze is a relatively new band from the USA West Coast scene. But member include experienced musicians from Vanishing (who performed at the Hex nights) and Spector Protector. Originally Bronze were planned to appear on the ‘Radio Resistencia’ compilation but in the end this 7” was imagined and realized. This new combo brings you some crazy and twisted synth / post-punk sounds. They really push genre boundaries far beyond their normal restrictions and come up with neo psychedelic dada-istic lounge and exotic cabaret tunes.

colpCamera Obscura - Strange Faces 7'' 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

When Camera Obscura were playing in Germany in 2006, they were also playing a fantastic tune yet unknown to the audience. Anna asked them what it was and they said it was another old tune called “Moving the Mercury”. To Anna, it was clear right away that it had to be released on vinyl as well, but it needed quite some convincing to get Peter’s and Nigel’s OK, which was not due to the potential of that song but due to the poor sound quality of the original tape. Anyway, now it has been restored to make it available to you. The next day, Peter told Anna that they had another tune called “Strange Faces” which, back in 1984, was supposed to become a 7”. But, like with the album, this never happened. But, fortunate as you are, Anna once again attended to the affair and so you can get these great songs on a black vinyl-7” oddly enough spinning at 45 rpm on the A-side and 33 1/3 rpm on the B-side.Limited pressing of 400 copies. Click cover for soundsamples.

colpChain Of Command - Some Aspects 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records)

Some may remember CHAIN OF COMMAND from their only vinyl appearance on the brilliant and highly sought-after compilation LP “Subtle Hints” (UK 1983, Sane Records) for which they submitted the track “Some Aspects”. They had recorded a few more tracks which unfortunately didn’t make it onto any further release. Thus, Anna is very proud to present the first CHAIN OF COMMAND vinyl, which makes Matt, Dave and Neil pretty happy today even if the release of their songs has delayed for some 24 years. The 7”EP includes four previously unreleased songs recorded in 1982, and you will surely need to call this vinyl your own!. Limited pressing of 400 copies. It includes also a hand numbered and signed photo (3 different images in circulation).

Civil Defence Programme - Protect And Survive / Attack Warning Red 7'' 6,99 € (Label: The All Clear)

Great new project on a great new little label! Sounds and noises created with synths and drum machines, industrial-influenced, pretty monotone, even dreary you could say, but this is making it so remarkable.

Colouroïd – Amor Y Néon 7'' (FlexiWave) 7,99 SOLD OUT

First release on the Swedish label FlexiWave. Debut single by the synth-wave duo Colouroïd, based in Stockholm Sweden. Mastered by Andreas Tilliander.

Cosmetics - Sleepwalking/The Cries 7" Clear Vinyl (Captured Tracks) 7,99€ SOLD OUT

Finally, we have some more Cosmetics. As you can see by the catalog number, we've been eagerly awaiting this one for a while. "Sleepwalking" is their best track to date, spooky and irresistible synth lines that make you bob your head until it rolls off. I'm afraid this is all we get until their LP is ready to go, so take it in. CLEAR WAX! Another total winner from Captured Tracks!

Cult Of Youth - The Devil's Coals 7'' 11,99 € (Label: Blind Prophet) SOLD OUT

Blind Prophet Records is proud to present a 7" of all new material from Cult Of Youth.

The Devil's Coals is a stark and passionate battle cry against the sins of the world and the desire to take the easy way out. Lush, dark, and invigorating, it marks the triumph of the individualist human spirit over the landfill called culture that grows all around us. It is arguably the best thing that Cult Of Youth has put to wax and continues to push things forward into a new territory that owes as much to Code Of Honor as it does to Current 93.

The B side, Sidestreets, shows an entirely different side of the band. It is a cover of a song by fellow Brooklyn musician Martial Canterel rearranged and performed entirely without synths of any kind. A dancefloor hit, perhaps, but also a sign of friendship and admiration for ones peers.

The Devil's Coals is limited to 500 copies (400 black and 100 blue) and comes with a download code.

Dead Luke - Record One 7'' 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records) SOLD OUT

The first of two singles to be included in the Sacred Bones released Dead Luke Box Set (which will include both singles, a four song CD-R, buttons, stickers, and other assorted ephemera). Dead Luke - Record Two 7'' 2nd press clear vinyl  7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)

Death Domain – Ethidium Bromide 7'' 7,99 (Label: Dark Entries RecordsSOLD OUT

Death Domain aka Adam Stroupe is a science nerd from Baltimore and, like me, wears it as a badge of honor. His sound is undoubtedly one of the most bewildering, disorienting yet magnetic and infectious slices of downright bleak takes on synth-based dance music. A one man all-live-analogue electronic ice machine (who is also behind the likes of ‘SIDS‘ – Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). His sound is as cryptically raw as it gets – summoning the seminal Industrial/EBM sounds of the likes of early Cabaret Voltaire, Skinny Puppy, and The Normal. Limited to 400 silk screened, hand numbered copies with 4 different covers that feature a different glow-in-the-dark letter of each base pair of DNA: A,C,T,or G.

Design - Fashion and Seduction 7” ltd. red vinyl re-issue + sticker  7,99€ (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

Design are Edouard Janssens and Eric Brusselmans from Belgium. In the early 80’s they released two tracks on Belgian vinyl compilations: “Premonition” on the sought after “Topless Game” LP (1983) and “Sunset Boulevard” on the “Nuit Blanche” LP (1984). “Premonition” was recorded in September 1982 on 24-track and mixed in Dan Lacksman’s (TELEX) SynSound studio in Brussels. In the same session the previously unreleased track “Fashion & Seduction” was recorded but never made it to any further release. Definitely not to be missed!

Red vinily re-issue, the first edition (black vinyl) was sold out.

fFemme Fatale - Prag Attack 7" 6,99 € (Label: Genetic)

Femme Fatale from Germany has released on various labels under various pseudonyms. This 7" compiles the two most well known tracks of this dedicated project.

Flesh Grey Display - Persecution 7” 8,50 € (Label: SDM, 2007) SOLD OUT

Flesh Gray Display is are 8* on vox and Ramiro Jeancarlo (SDM Records, Spaccato du Mal, Opus finis) on synth. 2 fantastic tracks: pulsing and epileptic synths with intense childlike vocals.

Further Reductions - Decidedly So 7'' (Captured Tracks) 7,99€

Thru the gates of forever and into the frozen vapours of Mannattan's minimal electronic monolith in the night, Further Reductions, Shawn O'Sullivan (of Led Er Est knowings) and collaborator Katie Rose are weaving a web of reverberatory wonderment. One of not just a few of the minimal synth couple outfit armies to emerge from New York's ever living and breathing clan of the same epithet, this masculine/feminine dream drone dichotomy's synthesized incantations drift like gleaming analogue jewels of dark incandescent dance dew. Voices with the echoes of youth sung wistfully into in the well and steeped in the myst of minor discord float inside Familiar Flights.

Futility – Forward / Deluge 7'' (FlexiWave) 7,99 SOLD OUT

Second release on FlexiWave. Debut release by Portland based duo Futility. Mastered by Andreas Tilliander.

Gary War - Reality Protest 7" 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)

This is the newest single from Gary War which was originally pressed up in Italy as a split release between Sacred Bones and Holidays Records to be sold on the band’s €pean tour. “Reality Protest”—a swirling ball of spring reverb and psychedelia that builds to a driving pulse—is the lead off track backed by “Hollow Failures,” a dark and moody keyboard laden song similar to the material on the Horribles Parade LP. For those who failed to make it to the continent to catch the band on the road Sacred Bones is making this limited edition tour single available stateside and beyond.

Gary War - Zontag 7" 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records) SOLD OUT

Sacred Bones presents the followup release to last year’s New Raytheonport full-length LP on Shdwply Records. Gary War’s keyboard and tape manipulations exist in the loner sphere somewhere between the Legendary Pink Dots’ keyboard driven take on UK psychedelia and current fellow travelers like the Pink Noise. Like the LPD or Ariel Pink (to whom he’s garnered comparisons since the debut LP release) the odd experimental arrangements and off-kilter instrumentation never stray very far from melancholy pop song structures rooted around a catchy hook and melody.

Goitia Deitz – Romance/Coma 7'' 7,99€ (Disc Error Recordings)

Debut 7" release from Goitia Deitz a mysterious duo from Brooklyn, New York. Behind the pairs shrouded persona are two DJs and producers that have been collaborating as Goitia Deitz for the past year. Their recorded experiments in minimal electronics hint towards an extensive record collection and a shared bonding over their love of Krautrock, Kosmische and Italo.
All tracks are produced on analog equipment, recorded live in one take with additional mixing by James Aparicio (These New Puritans, Liars, Spiritualized, Mute Records). Nothing is pre-planned or written.

His Electro Blue Voice - Duuug 7'' 2nd press white vinyl 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records

Italian punks His Electro Blue Voice mine territory first scoped out by Crisis, Warsaw, and early Xmal Deutchland. Two sides of serious Italian dark punk. Fans of last year's “Fog” single on S-S Records and their split with Nuit Noire take note. Second press in white vinyl.

Human Puppets - T.V. Eye 7'' (5th Floor Ent.) ltd ed 300 copies 8,99€ SOLD OUT

Founded in april 2010 in Athens, 5th Floor Ent. is a small indie label, focused on releasing records of bands playing DiY electronic, synth-punk, punk and similar music. Their 1st release, limited to 300 hand-numbered copies is Human Puppets "T.V. Eye" 7" with 2 tracks recorded live in studio. They sound more raw synth-punk than their excellent previous LP and 7" releases, more minimal electro-synth orientated..

Hunchback - Werse Houses 7'' 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)

First solo vinyl appearance from this New York/New Jersey dark punk combo cut straight from the Killdozer/Scratch Acid mold. The B-side sees the band and ’dozer vocalist Michael Gerald take on Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful.” Stunning cover art by the sadly deceased underground comic legend Rory Hayes. Recorded by Conrad Uno and mastered by Crypt Records’ Tim Warren. Mid-period Touch & Go fans take note!

Kindest Lines - Destructive Paths to Live Happily 7'' (Wierd Records) 6,99

The lead single from Kindest Lines' forthcoming debut LP, 'Destructive Paths to Live Happily', is nothing short of a small Southern miracle. This New Orleans trio knows exactly how to craft a dancefloor anthem, and this track announces their darkly elegant arrival into the Wierd Records family with thumping rhythms, seductive vocals and chiming dream pop guitars. The b-side, 'Colors Treasured,' adopts a slightly more abstract and apocalyptic industrial approach before opening up into a lilting, almost hopeful refrain.

Krysmopompas - Gesa/Volker 7'' 6,99 € (Avant! Records)

After the nice 2lp with tracks from self released cd-r's here is a new 7" with two new tracks. These new tracks are a bit more electronic and brings the sound quite close to stuff like Punk Soul Loving Bill. If you like Neue Deutsche Welle / Neo Deutsche Welle you will not be disappointed by this nice little record. Two great playful tracks!

Led Er Est - Poll Gorm/Man And Tree 7" 7,99 € (Label: Captured Tracks) SOLD OUT

Led Er Est add an organic and warm element to synth/drum machine-based music, all with good songwriting at it's heart. The a-side is manic and the b-side melodic. These two songs are not on their current LP, and they're two of their best.

ldhsfLigne d'hiver / Saison Froide 7" 7,99 € (Label: Brouillard Définitif)

One being very frigid, the other being icy, the two sides of this vinyl 7 inch split release will fuel all of your 80’s nostalgia. On the one side, there is Ligne d’Hiver who were a rather dark and previously unknown group that had emerged from the mid-80’s Cold Wave scene in Rennes, France. Their icy and psychotic recordings, which have remained unreleased to date, have now been unveiled by us, and all of this is just for you! On the other side, there is Saison Froide for who this release marks the first vinyl appearance in the eight years of the project’s existence. Saison Froide is a side project by Flav (of Paris Violence fame) in which he appears to be heavily influenced by Leitmotiv, Odessa as wells as Marc Seberg. So, two unreleased tracks by each group – soon in your very own hands, this is THE Cold Wave split release which should have already been released 20 years ago! The 7'' comes with a withered leaf sealed in a plastic bag.  Limited edition 300 copies. For free a Brouillard Définitif sticker!

Loom 11 - Artifact 7'' white vinyl  7,99 € (Label: Desire Records) SOLD OUT

The journey into nostalgia is deep and barren. There is no reason in nostalgia, it is not forgiving, and it detriments the weaker minded peons of taste and life. The single 'Artifacts' investigates nostalgia by narrating a story of love lost through a musical aesthetic that the creator, Elon Katz, is too young to have experienced in any genuine cultural capacity. The artist's indecision of nostalgia, be it personal or cultural, is played out with intentionally derivative electro-EBM and industrial motifs peppering in the melodic feeling of a depressing new wave track. LOOM 11 is an exercise into the depths of psyche and nostalgia in which the Chicago based industrial funk duo White Car subverts their identity into a more ardent and abrasive form. The restraint so carefully conducted in the mainstay of White Car is banished from LOOM 11. Instead, 'Artifacts' charges forward at relentless pace creating a new future for the not too distant past, saturating old memories into new entities.

Los Iniciados - Untitled 7'' Marble Vinyl 9,99 € (Label: Minimal Wave) SOLD OUT

Los Iniciados was the sister project of cult synth punk band El Aviador Dro from Madrid, Spain. They formed in 1981 as a performance art group to combine music and theatre, and to 'initiate' a break from the traditional band line-up. They had ever changing members whose identities were concealed by masks and costume during the live show. These 4 tracks are selects from their original cassettes, most of which have been previously released but are long out of print.

Martial Canterel - Occupy These Terms 7" (Wierd Records) 7,99€ SOLD OUT

Occupy These Terms is the second single from Martial Canterel's new album You Today. The A side is an aggressively raw uptempo dancefloor track backed by a fiercely melodic hook in the vain of 'Windscreen' and so many classic MC trax. 'The Case' is a moody midtempo song available exclusively as a B-side on this release.

Martial Canterel - You Today 7" (Wierd Records) 7,99€ SOLD OUT

Wierd Records is proud to present the first 7" single for the title track off of the forthcoming new full-length album from Martial Canterel entitled You Today. Since his first live performances in 2002, Sean McBride, aka Martial Canterel (who also performs as half of the duo Xeno & Oaklander), has produced a rich catalog of self-released and limited edition LPs, cassettes, and compilation tracks. The carefully crafted, private, raw, and often feverishly aggressive 'minimal synth' sound he has pioneered has been a pillar influence for the Brooklyn minimal electronics scene and and beyond. You Today incorporates bright, urgent melodies that snake and and swagger between major and minor keys, emanating a subtle melancholic darkness and a rhythmic, militant propulsion keeping things moving against all odds. Thoughtful yet distinctly danceable and infectious, the two songs on this gem of a disc are the apex of McBride's icily idiosyncratic oeuvre.

Martial Canterel + Tobias Bernstrup - Strange Land 7'' (Mannequin) 7,99 SOLD OUT

Mannequin is seriously proud to release on 45 rotations-per-minute seven inch single a nearly forgotten collaboration dredged and now seeing the light of day.

Played entirely live in one ago and using only vintage analogue synthesizers and sequencers, Martial Canterel and Tobias Bernstrup four-hands / two voices put our minds in another dimension, in an hypotetical night-time “outside”, where shadows and confusion are leading the way, creating simply a milestone for all the minimal electronics music lovers.

Martial Canterel is definitely one of the most talented artist in electronic underground music of our time, beeing the pioneer and instigator of what has now become a new movement of minimal electronic bands in the United States. With several albums on his back and deeply related to Wierd Records, Sean McBride is also the vintage controlled mind of Xeno & Oaklander.

Tobias Bernstrup is a swedish contemporary artist working with videos, interactive works, live performances and electronic music, mixing electro pop, italo disco and some darker synth moments. Several of his songs from videos and performances have been released by museums, galleries art institutions on CD or vinyl.

Martin Lloyd - L'Amant Electronique 7" EP 9,99 € (Label: Minimal Wave) back in stock

Minimal Wave presents an exquisite 7" EP release by Martin Lloyd entitled "L'Amant Electronique". Martin is mainly known for his Oppenheimer Analysis (MW) and Analysis (Survival Records) projects, yet through the years he recorded over two dozen tracks on his own, most of which never saw the light of day. The four selected tracks were recorded between 1980 and 1984 in his own "Feedback Studios" in Battersea, London. Martin Lloyd delivers vocals via the vocoder and carefully layers synth melodies which range from upbeat and danceable, to what could be the soundtrack to a 1981 post-apocalyptic science fiction film. The record is pressed on white vinyl with a heavy black jacket (spot gloss) and is limited to 999 hand-numbered copies.

Max Elliot - The Nature o' Nature 7''  7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)

Sparsely arranged folk from Absinthe Minds member Max Elliott. The central Wisconsin singer/songwriter’s dark acid folk hovers close around the lone guitar/vocal arrangements with subtle percussive accompaniment at points. This is not the folk of Jewel or Devendra Banhardt…think along the lines of Beard of Stars-era T-Rex or Simon Finn’s Pass The Distance. Raspy voiced tales of death, woe, and redemption. If you were quick enough to catch the 13-song cassette on Jerkwave last year you know what you’re in for; if you missed it, don’t sleep on this one.

Metro Decay Keimilia / Skies 7'' 8,99 € (Label: Eirkti) last copy

Metro Decay is the most important Greek new wave group that really made its way in the national 80s underground scene. Their uniquely constructed tunes as well as their profound Greek lyrics were two basic reasons why their presence seemed so important as well as promising during that period. Their long gone 7” single Keimilia / Skies forms an excellent paradigm of what new wave should sound like. Issued from the legendary Greek label ‘Creep’, way back in 1983 along with their first and only Lp ‘Ipervasi’ (1984) stigmatized that era’s atmosphere and not only. Eirkti is about to re-release their first single including the aforementioned songs. ‘Keimilia’ and ‘Skies’ introduces listeners to a really haunting dark wave ambience with heavy loads of thoughtful inspiration like one which you’ve never heard before. This 7” single will be produced in 800 hand-numbered copies, dressed in a proper sleeve and accompanied by an insert with all necessary info. We will definitely be proud to play it wildly loud on our turntables as well as imagine that you will do the same!

Minks - Funeral Song 7" 7,99 € (Label: Captured Tracks) SOLD OUT

As generous a kiss-off to Summer as we could hope for, MINKS' “Funeral Song” came virtually out of nowhere. Like if Robert Smith gave birth to a baby, and the baby was actually a cassette of Cure demos that had a lot more staying power than actual Cure demos. Ostensibly we could say this song is reactionary: abandoning the good vibes and surf jams of the warm months of ‘09 in favor of something colder. Rigid bass lines over icy, high-register synth whine. But the song has a lot more heart than that, so long summer time repeated endlessly until it not only makes sense, but makes frigid cold seem welcoming."

Minks - Ophelia 7" 7,99 € (Label: Captured Tracks) SOLD OUT

Minks , the 80s pop goth inspired band from Brooklyn, are back with their second single, as well on Captured Tracks as it was Funeral Song. Ophelia is slightly more acoustic and less Joy Division / New Order / The Cure influenced than their previous single and yes, as inspired as that song was.

The Misz - The EE EP 7''  8,99€ (EE Tapes) SOLD OUT

Straight from the 80s Belgian cassette culture scene, here comes THE MISZ. After the success of the “Eddy Merckz” re-release LP (on OnderStroom earlier in 2010), EE Tapes present this Extended Play  ( 7”, 33 rpm, 4 songs), containing the best of the 1984 “It Ain’t All Garbage” debut cassette.  240 copies

Naked on the Vague - Chitty Chat 7'' 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records SOLD OUT

Australia’s Naked on the Vague return for another two-sider of serious harsh downer vibes. Drum, synth, bass and vocal ferocity from this male/female duo that comes out sounding like a surprisingly more danceable version of Whitehouse. Fans of last year’s Skulltones 7-inch and Siltbreeze full-length won’t be disappointed.

Nervous Assistant - Bastard Blues 7'' 6,99 € (Label: Blind Prophet)

Dark, murky, foot-stompin' rural blues from the streets of Brooklyn. This marks the first ever vinyl release from Nervous Assistant and can be looked at as a companion piece to his debut CD on Boogewick Records. Think Robert Johnson meets "One Foot In The Grave"-era Beck meets GG Allin's acoustic record. This single comes highly recommended!

Neural Circus - Untitled 7'' EP 8,99 € (Label: Mauerstadtmusik) SOLD OUT

Neural Circus is a Minimal Electronics/Synth band from Harrogate, UK, formed in 1979.  In 1980 they released a 4 song self-titled EP, not even with a sleeve. 1000 copies where pressed but only 200 were distributed. The legends tell that the others were destroyed by the band itself. This records is now in every minimal synth collector  whishlist and it's sold for hundreds of €s.

Mauerstadtmusik Recor has now reissued this little gem, which can now be considered a minimal synth masterpiece. All tracks are remastered, and the artwork is the one which was originally intended for the cover. A must have for any minimal synth lover. The edition is limited to 500 copies.

Newclear Waves / Opus Finis 7'' SPLIT ltd 300 copies (Mannequin MNQ 003) 7,99€ SOLD OUT

Mannequin is proud to bring you its own first 7'', with two absolute dark and cold minimal electro tracks by Newclear Waves (Rome, Italy) and Opus Finis (Miami, U.S.A.), both never released before. Limited edition of 300 copies, with 2 inserts.

colpNew Shiny Things - Changing Colors 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records)  SOLD OUT

NEW SHINY THINGS were primarily Sara Ayers and Billy Harrigan with some support from Richard Fuller and Art Snay on additional keys. They were shining from Albany, NY, USA, and released the beautifully haunting “Changing Colors” and the powerful “Breadlines and Dissidence” as a 7” single on Blotto Records in 1982 which nowadays is impossible to find. Both tracks have so much substance and have left an ever-lasting impression on Anna, so that she decided to re-release those tracks plus adding the slightly weirder and previously unreleased ‘post-punk’ track “Crayola Psychosis” (written in 1980, recorded in 1984) to the flipside which was composed and recorded by Billy under the name of OPERATION PLUTO. So, this 7”EP, remastered by Art Snay, and presented in a totally new and beautiful artwork made by Sara, is a great reminder of the work of the late Billy Harrigan, who left the earthly domains in 2001, and Sara who is still a recording artist today. Limited pressing of 400 copies. It includes also a hand numbered and signed photo.

Nice Face - Mnemonic Device 7'' 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records

The third single from Nice Face follows on the heels of the recent HoZac 7-inch and an appearance on the “Wild About Jenkem” compilation alongside like-minded fellow travelers Wizzard Sleeve and Livefastdie. “Mnemonic Device” is a slower plodding mid-tempo song driven by a hypnotic repeating keyboard line and fuzzed out vocals. “Situation Is Facing Utter Annihilation” on the flip is the punkest Nice Face track to date bridging the gulf between disjointed no-fi punk rock and sinister synth and drum machine derangement.

Nice Face - Thing In My Head 7'' 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)

Midtempo guitar and drum machine driven bedroom punk from this faceless one-man act. Clear the room at your next family function with this pair of unbalanced ballads. Another great Mike Sniper designed cover.

Nostalgie Eternelle - EP 7'' 7,99 € (Label: EE Tapes)

Nostalgia-hunters are well rewarded these days. Just think of all the nice goodies we got (recently) from OnderStroom Records, Dark Entries Records and LTM Recordings.
EE Tapes can easily be added to this list of impressive labels. There back now with a fantastic EP, “Nostalgie éternelle” from the German duo Nostalgie éternelle. Stefan Heinze and Dieter Mauson bring you dark minimal synthpop / wave of outstanding quality. The 4 songs on this EP were released earlier on cassette-compilations.
“Without You” opens graciously with an effective mix of bass, nervous electronics and FALL-ish vocals. Next up is “Too Late To Be Sad”, a captivating instrumental. Pay attention to the fantastic bass (Trisomie 21) appearing for the first time halfway the song! This wonderful track alone ensures a high score for this release! I played it over and over again these last few days. The EP continues with more intriguing, adventurous bleeps and (very) dark synths in “Conquest” and the instrumental “Just Darkness”.

Standard edition, unnumbered, limited to 165 copies. Comes with insert and sticker.

Opus Finis - Penance 7" 8,50 € (Label: SDM, 2007) SOLD OUT

No More - Sunday Mitternacht / A Rose Is A Rose 7'' 6,99 (Rent A Dog)

NO MORE's first release on their new label Rent A Dog is a double-A-sided single called “Sunday Mitternacht / A Rose Is A Rose”.
"Sunday Mitternacht", a dark surrealistic clubnumber, they composed with Echopark-producer Torsten Stenzel.
"A Rose Is A Rose" was supposed to be the title track of their 1982 EP. Finally this hypnotic track shines brightly in its new 2010 version

No More - Too Late 7'' EP original - no cover - just white sleeve 14,99 (Too Late Records)

The 7" EP "Too Late" was the first release in 1980 and was recorded in a small laundry-room with a 4-track TEAC (the EP was reviewed in the German SOUNDS-magazine as "strangely, archaic music, brute sound that seems to be recorded with a purposely damaged 4-track"). After the departure of Thomas Welz at the end of 1980, No More worked as a trio until the end of 1983.
The song "Suicide Commando" is the band's biggest success.

Oppenheimer Analysis / Mark Lane - Radiance / Who's Really Listening? 7'' 7,99 (Stones Throw Records)

This new 45 is two '80s-era underground new wave tracks from the anthology The Minimal Wave Tapes, released is January 26, 2010 .

Mark Lane is a solo artist from Ventura, California who has been been making music since the 1970s and recorded this track “Who's Really Listening” in 1984.

Os Ovni / Modern Witch - Love 7'' (Tundra) 7,99  SOLD OUT

Tundra Dubs is a DIY/electronic label based out of Berkeley. Early next month they will ship out a 7″ split with singles from Os Ovni — a duo now based out of Austin but with roots in San Francisco– and Modern Witch, who’s members literally live all over the world (Kristy Fenton, the vocalist, lives in Amsterdam while the rest of the band, including the producer, are in Denver). “Love,” the track from Os Ovni, features a spaced-out percussive beat, while “Desire,” on the reverse, is an ethereal dance track for ghosts.

 Parallèles de Montségur - S/T 7'' 9,99 € (Label: Eirkti) SOLD OUT

Born in 1986 in Montpellier, Les Parallèles de Montségur opened the way of a dark rock in French to the south west of France. In a short time the band got a huge local following and then went on tour in France and Spain. It's a Paris label Le Silence De La Rue that released in 1990 the first single and only album "Espérit". Press and radios worshiped these eight tracks recorded and mixed in eight days at Studio de la Loge in Montpellier. While the band is ready to get its own place in the French scene the left of the bass player will broke the magic. In spite of it's replacement and the recording of four new tracks, opening the way to a new sound, the band will split in 1991.  7” Black vinyl, White & black colored gatefold sleeve, it includes a 2-page lyrics & info sheet.

Pink Noise - Gold Light 7''  7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records) SOLD OUT

Canadian 2-piece The Pink Noise return for their second release on Sacred Bones. Last year’s Dream Code LP ended up topping most people's best of 2008 lists. Electronic and organic drumming with keys with staccato punk guitar blasts--think the Residents played through a Big Muff. A double sider of deranged bedroom punk that shames the dozens of one-man-bands hunched over a Tascam trying to make a cheap knockoff of the original. The record sounds like it was mastered through a boombox onto a thriftstore cassette. The Jerkwave cassette release, the previous 7-inch single, and their track on World’s Lousy (both on Almost Ready Records) are all long gone.

The Phone - Discreet Affair 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Attractive!) SOLD OUT

The Phone is a minimal electropop project featuring Jonni, Jacki, Steve and Diane, with a new very limited edition 7" EP out in August 2008 on Steve Lippert’s Attractive label. 'Discreet Affair' sounds perfectly like Soft Cell anno 1980. All tracks are fueled with lots of analogue synth and percussion sounds, great effects, some familiar sounds and a cool male voice. The sleeve comes in a do-it-yourself manner. Make sure you order quickly as only few copies seem to carry the very rare sleeve! Highly recommended!

The Phone - Cabaret Noir 7'' ltd 300 copies 7,99 € (Label: Attractive!) SOLD OUT

Third release by Attractive Co-ordinates and second release with and from THE PHONE, the retro-analogue synth project by Jonni Mogul (aka Mogul) paying homage to some of the old heroes namely Soft Cell, Kraftwerk and the likes but with a rather unique sound in the end. A1 opens with “Cabaret Noir”, a powerful uptempo dancefloor filler with an almost anarchistic straight-forward punk drive, slogan-like lyrics from the new romantic era (“times passes slowly … reflected in a glass … like a film in slow motion … the cocktail glass is smashed”) and ending in a short and minimalistic reprise of the main track including a small vocal appearance by Sharon Abbott from Poeme Electronique/Twins Natalia. B2 is “Film in Slow Motion”, a very short and weird rhythmic industrial synth inferno. B1 opens with “Scientist X”, a wonderful analogue electro pop track with lots of weird synth sounds, vocoder and room for some warm melodic synthetic strings. The vinyl ends far too soon with B2 “Dub Missile”, a short and powerful electro reprise of “Cabaret Noir”. With THE PHONE, Jonni proves that with some love and passion you can create some damn cool music with lots of great ideas and sounds actually put into a minimal length of a track. Now there are rumours about the production of a THE PHONE album, well, the time is right, so instruct your DJs, prepare your strobe lights and let the people heat the dancefloor to the sound of THE PHONE.

7”s are new and limited to 300 copies only.

Poeme Electronique - The Echoes Fade 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

POEME ELECTRONIQUE … oh didn’t we all dream of finding their only vinyl release, ‘The Echoes Fade/VOICE’ 7” single (Carrere Records, 1982) some day? Well, most of us didn’t and probably won’t, and finding the members was equally hard, but thanks to J. Lange’s investigative nature (hey, you’re great!), Dave Hewson, the composer in the group was finally tracked down. To anyone’s surprise, Dave is nowadays a highly respected professional composer working for such institutions like the BBC - definitely not the common career of an early 80’s New Wave/Electropop underground artist. Dave’s kindness and enthusiasm on reworking old POEME ELECTRONIQUE material and reviving the group is extraordinary, and so is his level of production quality. Now one might think that remixes are uninteresting or useless, but when you will hear the work that Dave did on the 7” tracks, you will surely get the impression that some improvement has occurred. The tracks just sound incredible, and now more versatile. For example, in ‘VOICE’, a chorus, though already written in 1982 but never used, has eventually been added and also the vocals have been completely rerecorded this summer. Truly, Sharon and Julie’s voices sound as fresh as 25 years ago! Anna is incredibly proud of releasing this record, and you will be happy to read that this is not the end of story! Limited pressing of 400 copies. It includes also a hand numbered and signed photo.

Pop. 1280 - Thirteen Steps 7'' 7,99 € (Label: Blind Prophet)

Thirteen Steps is the newest release from New York's Pop. 1280. It picks up right where last year's "The Grid" left off, and is guaranteed to satisfy those waiting patiently for their new LP (due out 2012 on Sacred Bones). For the uninitiated, these New York creeps take the sonic palate of bands like Cop Shoot Cop, Swans, or even the Contortions and put it through a cyberpunk blender; somehow in the process managing to make catchy songs out of dissonant noise, scrap metal, synths, and drums. It's paranoid, potent, and packs a healthy dose of swagger. Thirteen Steps was recorded by Ben Greenberg at Python Patrol [RIP] and is limited to 500 handnumbered copies

Scorpion Violente / The Dreams - split 7''  7,99 € (Label: Enfant Terrible/Hex) SOLD OUT

Two bands from the contemporary  French scene / region around Metz France.  Both played on the Hex nights in Amsterdam. Scorpion Violente plays excellent raw minimal elektro. If you liked the ICK 7” EP we released then you will love this band too. One of the Scorpion Violente members is also involved in The Dreams.  The Dreams are like the perfect mix between Les Georges Les Leningrad, Crash Course In Science and ICK. In short: some of the best DaDa synth punk bands around at the moment. An extremely dirty and trashy 7” with wild synth punk sounds for the selected dancefloors around the world!

Soma Sema – Artificial Heart / Frenzy 7'' 7,99 € (Not Emb Blanc)

Taking its inspiration from the minimal synth and coldwave genres of the 1980s, Soma Sema exists as the musical collaboration of Clara Hall (voice, also in Daybed) and Th. Tot (machines). With interest and experience in working with other forms of music, including pop, drone and noise, Soma Sema seeks to simultaneously transcend and pay homage to the wave genre. The project's music experiments with ambient interludes while nevertheless embracing pop structures. In the process, it creates music that sounds polished yet also rough around the edges at the same time.

Sleep Museum - Mysterium Organum 7”EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

Robert is working hard on pressing ahead with SLEEP MUSEUM (and his side project AFTER THE SNOW) and has recorded many new tracks since the release of the “Dream of Waking” album. Anna has picked out the three ones she liked the most to put together this great 7”EP. All tracks are new material written and performed by SLEEP MUSEUM. Listen to the sound samples by clicking on the cover. And also stop by at SLEEP MUSEUM's website at www.sleepmuseum.com as well as www.afterthesnow.com.

The Soft Moon - Breathe The Fire 7'' 7,99 € (Label: Captured Tracks) SOLD OUT

From California and enlisted to only a member, Luis Vasquez, his music is definitely inspired by post-punk bands like Joy Division / New Order, Bauhaus, The Sound and all the obscure and dark sounds from the beginning of the 80s or more recently Blank Dogs or Blessure Grave: whispering voices, thick bass lines, echoing guitars and repetitive drum sounds.
The A side Breathe The Fire is a rhythm bomb while Phantoms explores the same parameters with a more down tempo beat.

The Soft Moon - Parallels 7'' 7,99 € (Label: Captured Tracks) SOLD OUT

San Francisco’s Soft Moon unveils the latest video treatment for the single Parallels today. The band is one of the long line of lush, dark pop bands that sprouted out of the tail end of 80′s post-punk and shoegaze. The Soft Moon pick up the very best elements of those movements and craft a sound that’s not unlike anything out there.

Somnambulist / M Bryo 7'' split Clear Vinyl 9,99 € (Label: Minimal Wave) SOLD OUT

A Belgian split 7" between Somnambulist and M. Bryo. Described as "one-man, new wave synth" projects, these two come from the early 80's Belgian tape scene. Other related bands from that era include: Absolute Body Control, The Klinik, OB Minimax, Quality-T and Vita Noctis. Somnambulist is known for k7 releases on the Belgian tape label, Central Tapes and M. Bryo for "The Empty Street" which appeared on the V/A - No Big Business 2 LP. The three selected tracks for this 7" were originally released on k7 in 1982 on Central Tapes. Somnambulist's "Facing the Moon" and "The Tribe", are from "The Withered Land" k7 and M. Bryo's "Show Me Your Hands" from the "Homo Fabre" k7. Sound samples here. Clear vinyl limited to 500 numbered copies.

Spirit Photography  - Time is Racing 7"  7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)  SOLD OUT

Debut release from this San Diego three piece that includes members of Christmas Island. Two tracks of unpleasant and foreboding post-punk with baritone vocals in the vein of Douglas P and early DIJ. Look out for future releases including a track on the Charles de Goal tribute Expositions (str8line records), a 4-way split 7-inch with Sharp Ends, O Voids, Ale Mania (Volar Records), a cassette only release on Neon Aztec, and the HHH/The Centre Cannot Hold 12-inch.

sf Spoon Fazer - Bam Boo 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

SPOON FAZER is the early 80's solo project of Simon Patterson from the UK who got his name from his band mates when playing in some in avant-garde punk bands in Devon and London. Being originally a drummer, fortunately Simon found interest in working with synthesisers and drum machines. On stage he used to play his electronic drums with guess what … spoons, of course! SPOON FAZER released the "Music 2 Dance 2" 7"EP (Project Records, Project 1, UK, 1980), Sunset 12"EP (Illuminated Records, ILL 912, UK, 1982), which actually featured the first vinyl appearance by Jimmy Caulty of later KLF fame, and was featured on the "East of Croydon" compilation LP (Nothing Shaking Records, SHAK 1, UK, 1981). Apart from that, SPOON FAZER recorded two tapes entitled "Bam Boo" and "Just another Man-in-Sect". The four 'most Anna Logue-compatible' songs from "Bam Boo" (recorded in 1982) were chosen for inclusion on this beautifully designed 7"EP. "Bam Boo" was the musical expression of Simon's obsession with Japan which you will clearly hear throughout the tracks presented here. Limited pressing of 333 copies,
4 previously unreleased tracks. It includes ahand numbered and signed photo.

Staccato du Mal – Foto Sin Fin 7" 8,50 € (Label: SDM, 2007) SOLD OUT

Another great release from the great dark synth artist of Miami Mr. Ramiro Jeancarlo. Minimal electronics with Spanish vocals.

Staccato Du Mal - Desespero 7'' (Wierd Records) 7,99€ SOLD OUT

Wierd is proud to present the first single Desespero from Staccato du Mal's forthcoming debut album Sin Destino. SdM is the solo project of Ramiro Jeancarlo from Miami, Florida, who has long been a beloved member of the Wierd Records family - performing as a member of both Opus Finis and Flesh Graey Display and appearing on both of the Wierd Compilation collections. Staccato du Mal summons the hot and dirty post-coital Miami sun, performing on entirely homemade and modified analogue gear, to produce a menacingly nihilistic, sinister sound seething with wild confrontational energy. With vocals in both English and Spanish, the forthcoming debut album is informed by Jeancarlo’s half Chilean, half Venezuelan background. Pervasive throughout the LP is an aura of dread and claustrophobia that without a doubt evokes the brutally hot, dry, lonely landscape and architecture of Southern Florida. Despite this disorienting feeling, there are inspired moments of resolution where warm, delicately sensitized melodies and sparkling psychedelic soundscapes counter the bleakness. On 'Desespero', Jeancarlo’s pleas to “let me in, I want in” are frighteningly forward but made inviting against a danceable and very accessibly inviting synthpop background.

Störung - Europe Calls 7'' with picture 9,99 € (Label: Minimal Wave) SOLD OUT

Two great and long lost tracks: 'Europe Calls' and 'Radio Lines', from the Dutch duo known as Störung. Europe Calls is previously unreleased and described as a "minimal dancefloor killer"! Special thanks to Lieven de Ridder for providing source tape. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies, accompanied by a photographic print of the band.

Strange Devotion - Again The New Formation 7” 8,99 € (Label: Mauerstadtmusik) back in stock

Strange Devotion came into being at the end of 1981 when Dominic Butler was offered a gig at the Folk and Blues Festival which was to take place the following March in Harrogate. He wasn't in a band at the time, but he did have a synth and a drum machine and a liking for the Human League, and other electronic bands of the time, so he decided to do the gig solo with a backing track on tape. Strange Devotion lasted less than 1 year, duirng which time Dominic recorded 2 songs. The Strange Devotion project was restarted in 2006 and it still retains the ethos of the punk era with raw, simple songs without too much emphasis on staying in key or hitting exactly the right note.

Thanks to Mauerstadtmusik Record the debut Strange Devotion single is now availables. It is a very special limited edition of 500 copies pressed on 7" vinyl with card insert and features the 2 Strange Devotion songs recorded in April 1982.

Sudeten Creche - Wounds 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

SUDETEN CRECHE is Mark Warner and Paul Carlin from the UK and probably they need not much presentation. Their minimalistic electropop track “Are Kisses are out of Fashion”, originally released on the 1982 compilation EP “€pe in the Year Zero” (which amongst others also featured Yazoo), is widely known and respected. Furthermore, they released the four-track 12”EP “Kindergarten” in 1983 on Illuminated Records, which is, of course, very hard to find these days. Anyway, Mark and Paul teamed up again and recorded new tracks for their upcoming album “Kisses from the Creche” - for more info please visit www.sudetencreche.com - and the 7”EP released on Anna Logue Records kind of marks a pre-release presenting alternative versions of “Glorious Treason” and “Wounds”, while “Rogues” is an exclusive track for this vinyl release. This is electropop at its best, both for the dancefloor and the mind and shall bring SUDETEN CRECHE back to publicity and a promising future. Limited pressing of 400 copies. It includes also a hand numbered and signed photo.

Television Set – Consumer Price Index 7'' 6,99 € (Genetic Music)

From the artwork to music, from information to lyrical content, TELEVISION SET stay as minimal as it gets. This time, on “Consumer Price Index” it’s gets a little bit more noisy and stomping with a fast and machine gun-like bass drum and late 70’s synthetic noise snare drum with Roger’s typical bass sequences and vocals as we are used to hearing from TELEVISION SET and Bakterielle Infektion. A must buy!

Television Set / Others In Conversation - November Session 7'' 6,99 € (Label: Genetic)

//TENSE// - Turn It Off 7'' Single (Mishka) 7,99€ SOLD OUT

Frustrated with the direction electronic music was headed, one man, Robert Lane, decided to create the sound he so badly craved. So, in the Winter of 2006, he bought some machines, learned to program them, and stole his girlfriend's computer to record the ensuing beats. Since then, Mariana Saldaña (also of Medio Mutante) has joined him in what can only be described as a burgeoning Industrial/EBM juggernaut. //TENSE// was born with dreams of resurrecting the forgotten Wax Trax! sound. Keep your memories alive, but move into the future…

Here presented the group's first-ever 7-inch for "Turn It Off." One of //TENSE//'s signature and standout tracks, this EBM anthem is available for the first time, anywhere,on this 7-inch.

//TENSE// will release a full 12'' ep titled 'Escape' for Mannequin (April 2011)

Timmy's Organism - Squeeze The Giant 2x7'' 10,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones)

5-song EP spread across two 7-inches from Timmy’s Organism, the solo alter-ego of Human Eye frontman and Clone Defects mastermind Timmy Vulgar, along with members of Hamtramck’s Terrible Twos. Traversing the gap between the disjointed Helios Creed-inspired work of Human Eye’s skronky punk and more spacey, out there explorations, Timmy’s Organism is the next logical step in a family of Michigan noise that includes the now defunct Pirhanas as well as Tentacle Lizardo, The Frustrations, Reptile forcefield and even Tyvek. More stripped down and raw than anything Human Eye has done to date but no less intense!

Tomates Eléctricos - Teléfono Rojo 7'' Red Vinyl 7,99€ (Label: Synth Pop Spain Records) SOLD OUT

TOMATES ELÉCTRICOS was Miguel A. Galán (synthesizer, voice), Francisco J. Galán (guitar), José L. Macías (keyboards), and José Godofredo (rhythm machine, voice) from Spain, and one of the pioneering tecno-pop bands from which both follow-up projects Ultima Emoción and Fanzine evolved. All four tracks on this 7”EP were recorded in 1981, and use a Korg KR-55 and MS-20 as their basis and will appeal to everyone into Spanish tecno-pop similar to early Aviador Dro, Fanzine, Ultima Emoción and Metal Y Ca. Tracks included are “Teléfono rojo”, “Climax”, “Caminos intermitentes” and “La orgia des los selenitas”. After the Fanzine 7”, this is the second release on Synth Pop Spain Records, so curious of what’s there next to come!

tnTwins Natalia - When We Were Young/Kleiner Satellite 7'' EP 7,99 € (Label: Anna Logue Records) SOLD OUT

TWINS NATALIA songs are unique products of creative minds working together in order to write some beautiful, catchy and substantial electropop songs combining an early 80’s musical approach (analogue drum machine sounds, way of sequencing, etc.) with up-to-date recording techniques. TWINS NATALIA is one of the many brainchildren of Steve Lippert, Anna’s permanent and wonderful graphic designer. The basic musical ideas are composed by Marc Schaffer creating a basic melancholic and melodic structure. Additional composition, arrangement and performance by Dave Hewson, with beautiful lyrics and vocal lines added by Sharon Abbott, performed by Sharon, and Julie Ruler, the latter three well-known from actually being POEME ELECTRONIQUE. In the end, for me this is close to being the perfect electropop. Further tracks are at early stages so a complete TWINS NATALIA album is planned for 2009. Limited pressing of 333 copies,
2 previously unreleased tracks. It includes a hand numbered lyrics photo.

Genetic is happy to present you this Split 7" feat. two amazing songs of UMRIJETI ZA STROJEM and NEITHER NOR, two bands from Croatia. They are involved in other projects too (e.g. NARROW) and we hope to hear more soon! Minimal synth at its best with great catchy vocals!

U.V. Pøp – Just A Game / No Songs Tomorrow 7'' 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones Records)

This 7-inch is part of the Sacred Bones reissue series. UV PØP were from North Country UK, Sheffield to be exact. They crafted morose, jagged punk songs about the political climate of their country at the time. This single was originally released in 1982 on the legendary PAX Records in an edition of 1000 individually designed silk-screened covers. It was produced by Cabaret Voltaire and charted on Rough Trade but in America the band remained largely obscure.

Mannequin & Sacred Bones will merge their forces to bring you their original full-length, "No Songs Tomorrow" early next year.

Various - Attractive! Too 7'' ltd 300 copies 7,99 € (Label: Attractive) SOLD OUT

Here finally comes the eagerly awaited second release on Steve Lippert’s Attractive Co-ordinates label, specialized in vinyl 7” releases with his very own vision of graphic design which is exclusively distributed by Anna Logue Records. After the first release (THE PHONE Discreet Affair, 7”, atco1, 2008), we are being served a mini compilation featuring four projects from around his circle of friends: A1 is POEME ELECTRONIQUE with “Fragile (Original)”, one of the super hits which was already released on the “The Echoes Fade” album (ANNA 025.2009), but here presented in an even earlier and rougher version using the Boss DR-55 drum machine and a little more, let’s say, expressive Sharon on vocals. A2 is TREELINE, a duo comprising Steve Lippert himself and Clive Weston who serve “It’s No Good Trying To Reason With Me”, let’s say, an experimental piece of minimal music. B1 is COMPLICATED MEMORIES, that is Marc Schaffer from Anna Logue Records. “Remember (You & I)” is actually a demo track originally recorded for Twins Natalia and was eventually released as “When we were Young” on a 7” on Anna Logue Records (ANNA 017.2008). “Remember (You & I)” comes along as a very rough and yet beautiful and melodic minimal electronics pop piece with Roland CR-78/CSQ-100/SH-2 combo, strings from the Crumar Perfomer and a rare vocal performance from Marc. B2 is by Jonni Mogul’s project THE PHONE that brings us the “White Noise Symphony”, a track that is paying some homage to Kraftwerk with a lovely synthetic percussion sent through a flanger thus referring to “T.E.E.”, plus analogue synthesisers and vocoders, odd organ sounds, etc. Comes in hand numbered 8 pages fold out poster with band pics and infos. To cut a long story short, a lovely vinyl mini compilation full of analogue electronics, made by friends for friends, so, time for you to become a friend, too!

7”EPs are new and limited to 300 copies only.

Xeno & Oaklander -  Sets & Lights 7'' 7,99 (Label: Wierd Records) SOLD OUT

The title track and second single from Xeno & Oaklander's new LP is full of all the propulsive energy, infectious hooks, and enigmatic lyrical themes that have become the trademarks of this seminal electronic duo. "Sets & Lights" opens with a driving beat and wistful arpeggios that lead into a chorus that's as hook-laden as it is laced with darkly violent imagery. The b-side, "Sunday," keeps the kinetic pace and lightens the tone slightly, letting Liz Wendelbo's unmistakable voice drift above the lilting electronics making it a perfect compliment to the a-side.

Zola Jesus - Soeur Sewer 7'' 2nd press green vinyl 7,99€ (Label: Sacred Bones RecordsSOLD OUT

From classically trained piano virtuoso to lo-fi bedroom psych wave heroine, Madison, WI’s Zola Jesus already has a prolific output to her name. With a 7" already out on Die Stasi, Sacred Bones is psyched to offer this single. “Souer Sewer” taps into a tortured cabaret vibe while “Odessa” sounds like something that would have been banned by the party from the airwaves in its namesake Soviet homeland. Second press in green vinyl.

Side A:    Soeur Sewer
